Caring For Your Quilt Art

Embellished quilts and wallhangings should be hand washed and dried in the dryer on no heat/air, or dried flat. In between cleanings, quilts may be vacuumed to remove surface dirt. If quilt or wallhanging is extremely embellished always vacuum or hand wash.

Because I use only cotton batting in all my quilts and wallhangings, regular washing and drying will accentuate the texture of the quilting. If you want to store the quilts or wallhangings, do not store in poly bags; ideally, as with any fine textile or piece of art, store in an acid-free box.
