Apparently, I am on a bird tangent. Actually spent most of today working on some fabric for a future project, and so I just quickly completed this art card for today. Silkscreen background, discharged bird, free motion quilted, Angelina fibers, oil pastel. About 4.75 x 6 inches.

Surreal little piece, made from fabric stamped on my sick day (02 22 2010). Photo transfer, oil pastel, tea dyed cheesecloth, free motion quilted. About 7.5 x 5.5 inches.

Shhhhhh! Cecil makes a reappearance, not blending in at all, in a wonky fabric line drawing for Mom's birthday card this year. About 5.75 inches square.

So I said to roomie Danielle that today, for ideas, I had nothing. She reminded me that there are no rules, and while she is doing a self portrait a day, there's no reason I couldn't look at myself, as well. So, here goes. First self portrait since college. Me looking over my shoulder in the car at the Cape. Got my sunglasses on. Tiny, about 4x4 inches square.
